The iRIScope 2.0 is an RFID-enabled endoscope tracking system targeted at increasing care quality and patient safety by helping care providers track endoscope storage, use and reprocessing. The solution includes new storage cabinet models to accommodate wider ranges of flexible endoscope quantities, positive-pressurized storage cabinets with filtered air, surveillance monitoring of endoscope disinfection status and automatic notification to clinical staff when timeframes between endoscope reprocessing exceed safe levels. Also included are enhanced reporting and analytics modules to focus on key measures of patient safety, unit efficiency and cost reduction.
