Amerinet selects MicroMD EMR and PM systems

Jan. 28, 2011

Boardman, Ohio (January 25, 2011) – The Henry Schein MicroMD electronic medical records and practice management products are the first non-acute care EMR and PM solutions to be offered by Amerinet to its 45,000 members. Amerinet, a national healthcare group-purchasing organization, will offer the MicroMD products to its members at a significant discount.

The agreement is the first discount program of its kind to be offered as part of the “Henry Schein MicroMD Family Plan,” a new program that rewards loyal Henry Schein MicroMD customers with discounts on MicroMD software. The program discounts are based on the level of business to which an Amerinet member has committed to any one of the Henry Schein “family” of companies, including purchases of medical supplies, dental supplies, medical equipment or pharmaceuticals.

Amerinet and Henry Schein MicroMD’s national sales forces will jointly promote the solutions to Amerinet’s membership. Henry Schein MicroMD will dedicate a team to provide implementation, training and technical support for Amerinet customers.
