Molina chooses Centricity practice solution for EMRs

July 1, 2011

EMRs

Molina Healthcare, a 16-state healthcare system serving 4.3 million Medicare and Medicaid patients and families, has selected GE Healthcare's Centricity Practice Solution (CPS) as its primary platform for electronic medical records and practice management. CPS is certified by both CCHIT and NCQA, which will help Molina meet recognized quality standards and meaningful-use requirements. Since it operates a multistate managed-care plan, Molina required a tool that offered well-developed integration capabilities with external systems and support for private, secure communication with patients and outside medical practices. The ability to interface with patients and labs, along with its e-prescribing tools, also played significant roles in Molina's decision to choose this platform.
