Tablets take over lab ordering

Oct. 1, 2011

ITF-GoDoc MobileOE enables easy-to-use mobile computerized provider order entry (CPOE) via Apple iPad and Android-capable tablets. Features such as billing information prompts, ask-at-order-entry questions, specimen types and medical necessity checks help ensure clean orders for receiving labs. Orders can be dropped to any capable EHR, LIS or billing and accounts receivable system. The application is also integrated with a browser-based workflow facilitator for patient service centers and hospital outpatient registration points to enable order validation prior to electronic upload to the LIS or registration system.
