Health Catalyst named fifth best place to work in small healthcare companies

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – October 30, 2013 – Health Catalyst, a leader in healthcare data warehousing and analytics, ranked No. 20 overall among all U.S. healthcare organizations in Modern Healthcare's “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” survey for 2013. The company placed fifth in the survey's small company category, which ranks companies with fewer than 100 employees.

The Best Places to Work in Healthcare awards recognize employers for their outstanding performance in economic development, employee retention and satisfaction.

Health Catalyst is a 5-year-old technology company founded by industry veterans that helps hospitals and academic medical centers improve the quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of care. Based in Salt Lake City, the company employed 89 people at the time of the survey and currently employs 119 people who serve more than 100 leading healthcare organizations with over 20 million combined patients.
