Endeavor Business Media acquires Healthcare Informatics Group from Vendome

Endeavor Business Media, a business-to-business media company, based in Nashville, Tenn., today announced that it has acquired the Healthcare Informatics Group from Vendome, for an undisclosed amount. The group includes healthcare-informatics.com and the Health IT Summit series of conferences. The staff working on these events and digital properties has been retained by Endeavor.

“The Healthcare Informatics team built a very strong following that will fit in well with our other Healthcare titles,” said CEO Chris Ferrell. “It is great to have the brand and the team on board as we continue to build out our portfolio of healthcare focused titles and events.”

Kristine Russell, EVP at Endeavor Business Media, and VP, Group Publisher of the Endeavor Healthcare Group (which includes titles Health Management Technology, Medical Laboratory Observer, and Healthcare Purchasing News) said her team is excited that the Healthcare Informatics team will be joining her group. “In particular, we are all looking forward to expanding our presence in healthcare IT by incorporating the well-respected Health IT events that Healthcare Informatics excels in. We are also pleased to be combining the two groups’ editorial expertise, which will enable us to broaden our capabilities in print, digital, custom content and events,” Russell commented.
