Alan L. Bunn joined claims administration company Insurdata Inc., Irving, Texas, as vice president of business development. Most recently Bunn was director of business development for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Plano, Texas.

MicroScript Corp., Danvers, Mass., hired Robert J. McKinley as vice president of operations. McKinley joins Microscript from networking company Shiva Corp. in Bedford, Mass. Karl I. Reti and Paul W. Roscoe were also appointed to new positions within the company. Reti was named vice president of research and development and Roscoe was appointed vice president of international sales.

James Whittenberg was named vice president of sales for Salt Lake City-based Medicode, Inc.’s publications and software division. He joined Medicode from Solomon Smith Barney in Baltimore where he was a vice president.

Sherer was previously vice president for corporate and finance information technology at pharmaceutical company Glaxo Wellcome, Inc. Superior Consultant Company, Southfield, Mich., appointed Jack P. Kowitt as divisional vice president in the outsourcing practice. Most recently Kowitt was vice president of information services with Samaritan Health System in Iowa.

Michael W. Rogers, former vice president and CFO of biopharmaceutical company Autoimmune, was named vice president, CFO and corporate development officer of Advanced Health Corp., Tarrytown, N.Y. In this position, Rogers will handle finance, treasury, investor relations and strategic development activities for the company. Rogers has held executive positions in investment banking with Lehman Brothers and Paine Webber.
