The day that began with the editorial breakfast culminated with a reception that honored the recipients of the 2008 HCI Innovator Awards and allowed the industry insiders present — most of whom have been featured in our publication — to put faces with names.

HCI Editor-in-Chief Anthony Guerra presented plaques to each of the winners, including Lynn Witherspoon, M.D., who delivered a speech during which he described his rise to the position of System Vice President and CIO of Ochsner Health System in New Orleans.
