PeopleSoft, Pleasanton, Calif., Per-Se Technologies, Atlanta, and OmniCell Technologies, Palo Alto, Calif., will offer a complete healthcare supply

PeopleSoft, Pleasanton, Calif., Per-Se Technologies, Atlanta, and OmniCell Technologies, Palo Alto, Calif., will offer a complete healthcare supply chain software package with materials management applications from PeopleSoft, scheduling and resource management applications from Per-Se and supplies management systems from OmniCell.

HBOC, Atlanta, and Healthdyne Information Enterprises (HIE), Marietta, Ga., entered a distribution agreement in which HBOC will market HIE’s interface engine under the name Pathways Interface Manager.

SMS, Malvern, Pa., and Lawson Software, Minneapolis, announced an alliance in which both companies will sell, install and support the LAWSON INSIGHT line of financial and human resources applications and SMS’ NOVIUS healthcare information systems.

Claimsnet.com, Dallas, entered an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, in which the two companies will jointly market claims processing services to Blue Cross Blue Shield’s 9,000 Louisiana physicians.

a4 Health Systems, Cary, N.C., announced that it has retained Superior Consultant Holdings Corp., Southfield, Mich., to provide implementation services for a4’s enVista computer-based patient record.

Synertech, Harrisburg, Pa., and MEDecision Wayne, Pa., formed an alliance to integrate and jointly market Synertech’s managed care information systems with MEDecision’s medical management products.

Healthworks Alliance, Inc., King of Prussia, Pa., announced that Sunquest, Tucson, Ariz., will resell Healthworks’ Compliance Checker products.

VHA Inc., Irving, Texas, said it plans to make Sweetwater Health Enterprises’, Dallas, SweetQ quality management software available to its member organizations and their affiliates.
