Andersen Consulting and NationsBank announced a joint venture to develop an electronic commerce network for the healthcare industry.

GlobalMedic, Montreal, and Nortel, St. John, New Brunswick, are collaborating on a health risk appraisal and informatics program for Nortel employees in Ottawa and Brampton, Ontario, using GlobalMedic’s Health Manager information system.

Health services management company AmeriChoice Corp., Vienna, Va., and Information Network Corp., a Phoenix-based healthcare information systems company, announced they will jointly market each other’s products and services.

IBM, White Plains, N.Y., and HBOC, Atlanta, announced that HBOC will offer IBM’s Network Storage Manager backup and recovery application to its healthcare network customers.
