Boardman, Ohio-based Henry Schein Medical Systems has released MicroMD EMR version 6.0, which it says is designed to enhance the physician experience by improving existing workflows and streamlining access to patient information.

According to the company, the latest version builds on an advanced list of digital medical devices that provide direct input of results into the EMR. This connectivity eliminates the need for data entry and provides physicians with test results that are directly incorporated into MicroMD EMR, it says.
