Intercoastal Medical Group, a 65-physician, multi-specialty practice based in Sarasota, Fla., has selected Intergy by Sage (Tampa, Fla.) as its electronic health records (EHR) and practice management system. In addition, the practice will use Intergy by Sage Practice Portal for communication and open access between patients and physicians.
According to Sage, its browser-based solution, Intergy, will allow patients to access information, complete necessary forms, request appointments, and request prescription renewals, without having to pick up the phone.
Sage contends that Intercoastal has also implemented Practice Analytics by Sage and Sage MAS 90 ERP. Practice Analytics is a business intelligence tool that allows practices to monitor and report on financial and clinical data, says the company. Sage MAS 90 is a business management solution that enables automation of core accounting, payroll, financial reporting and project management functions, says the vendor.
