In order to support its network of seven community health organizations, Integrated Health Systems of Alabama (IHSA) has chosen the MicroMD EMR from Henry Schein Medical Systems.

According to the company, MicroMD EMR is designed to simplify the entry and presentation of clinical data, resulting in improved workflow and faster access to patient data. The application, it claims, reduces paper-based processes, enabling a more cost efficient reporting and operation.

IHSA represents 42 Alabama-based primary care delivery centers and 71 healthcare providers.
