NDS Surgical Imaging (NDSsi) of San Jose, Calif., has acquired Dome Imaging Systems, the medical business unit of Planar Systems Inc. (Beaverton, Ore.).

According to NDSsi, Dome manufactures medical display products for diagnostic imaging and patient care applications. Dome’s customers include global PACS OEM suppliers and medical information technology resellers to healthcare providers, says the company.
