Spring Medical Systems (Houston, Tex.), a provider of software solutions for small- and medium-sized medical practices, has formed an alliance with WFS Services Inc. (Secaucus, N.J.) in an effort to help practices deploy electronic health records (EHR) solutions, and enhance financial and billing procedures.

Through the partnership, Spring Medical Systems' EHR application, SpringCharts, will be integrated with WFS' revenue cycle management products to provide a single data entry point for practices and a "one-to-one" relationship between clinical and financial systems, says both companies.

The solution will provide medical practices with a solution to manage both the front office and back office technology requirements, and will be offered through a joint sales and marketing initiative, contends both companies.
