Chicago-based Ingalls Health System has rolled out Malvern, Pa.-headquartered Siemens Medical Solutions’ Soarian Clinicals HIS in an effort to increase efficiencies and reduce costs, the company says.

According to Siemens, Ingalls rolled out Soarian with an eye on helping hospital staff manage patient data and processes across the enterprise, extending its Soarian Health IT infrastructure. Siemens claims the organization is already seeing measurable results through its ongoing use of Soarian Financials, Scheduling, Med Administration Check, Pharmacy, and Decision Support.

Ingalls Health System is comprised of a 563-bed hospital and five outpatient centers.
