3M (St. Paul, Minn.) and Sonitor Technologies (Largo, Fla.) are collaborating to incorporate Sonitor’s ultrasound-based real-time location system

3M (St. Paul, Minn.) and Sonitor Technologies (Largo, Fla.) are collaborating to incorporate Sonitor’s ultrasound-based real-time location system (RTLS) technology into 3M’s Track and Trace Solution.

The partnership is designed to strengthen the solution’s portfolio, say the companies. Sonitor’s RTLS technology automatically tracks, with room-level or sub-room level location accuracy, the location of mobile equipment and people in complex environments, they tout.
