IASIS Healthcare LLC, a 16-hospital system based in Franklin, Tenn., is deploying the Horizon Medical Imaging PACS from McKesson (Alpharetta, Ga.) as part of an effort to improve patient care and physician satisfaction, according the company.

The enterprise imaging platform is intended to provide IASIS physicians with secure access to a more complete view of patients’ records, which can lead to more well-informed treatment decisions, it says.

With 15 acute care hospitals and one behavioral health facility, IASIS Healthcare serves approximately 2,700 beds across six regions: Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla., Las Vegas, West Monroe, La., and three cities in Texas.
