Barbara Cox, a senior principal at the Falls Church, Va.-based Noblis Center for Health Innovation, has been appointed as co-chair for the HIMSS E.H.R. Special Interest Group (SIG), part of Chicago-based HIMSS.

As the national practice leader for the information management and systems practice at Noblis, Cox brings more than 26 years of experience in the healthcare provider arena to SIG. She has experience in EHRs, IT adoption and IT strategy and has developed service offerings related to health information exchanges for the last 10 years.

Noblis is a nonprofit strategy, technology and decision-science organization.
