Rochester, N.Y.-based eHealth Global Technologies Inc. is teaming up with HKS Medical Information Systems Inc. (Omaha, Neb.) to offer an integrated solution that streamlines medical record management for transplant departments.

The solution will incorporate the OTTR (Organ Transplant Tracking Record) — a patient tracking application and EHR developed specifically for organ transplant centers — with eHealthConnect, a medical record management service that collects, digitizes, organizes, secures and stores outside patient records.

By combining these two services, the solution will enable users to access all referred patient medical record requests through one interface, according to the companies.
