Milwaukee, Wis.-based Merge Healthcare recently received an order from Algemeen Ziekenhuis Heilige Familie (AZHF), a 207-bed medical center in Rumst, Belgium to provide the medical facility with its RIS/PACS solution with speech recognition.

According to Merge, a medical imaging software and services provider, its imaging solution integrates Merge's RIS with the image visualization, distribution and storage technologies of the company's PACS to create a business and clinical workflow solution. Implementation is scheduled to be completed by October 2007.
