QuadraMed Acquires Misys CPR

QuadraMed Corporation, a Reston,Va.-based healthcare solution provider, has completed its acquisition of the Misys Computerized Patient Record (CPR)

QuadraMed Corporation, a Reston,Va.-based healthcare solution provider, has completed its acquisition of the Misys Computerized Patient Record (CPR) assets of Raleigh, N.C.'s Misys Healthcare for the purchase price of $33 million in cash.

According to QuadraMed, as integration of the CPR business approaches completion, Misys CPR clinical information system will at first be renamed QuadraMed CPR. The acquisition of CPR is projected to benefit clients of both QuadraMed and Misys CPR.

With regards to the transaction, further financial information will be made public within the next 75 days.
