Valley Baptist Health System (Harlingen, Texas) is deploying the ClearContracts Payer Compliance suite from Concuity, a healthcare division of Trintech (Dublin, Ireland), to automate revenue cycle management.

Through the implementation, the organization hopes more accurately calculate payments from managed care and government payers and more easily negotiate contract terms and analyze and track the results of managed care agreements. The solution is also designed to help staff more effectively hold payers accountable to the terms of agreements and appeal and collect underpaid and denied claims, according to the company.

Valley Baptist is an 800-bed network serving patients at two facilities, Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen and Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.
