Integrated physician information systems provider, Newton, Mass.-based PatientKeeper Inc., has released a new application available on the BlackBerry platform from Ontario’s Research in Motion. The new offering, PatientKeeper says, gives physicians additional flexibility for accessing the PatientKeeper Physician Information System and satisfies the growing demand among PatientKeeper and BlackBerry smartphone customers.
According to PatientKeeper, the system provides a suite of software applications that physicians can use to save time, improve patient care, and improve financial performance. The company claims its product permits physicians access to essential patient information using a single user interface that has already pulled together information from disparate healthcare systems across the organization. PatientKeeper says after that the BlackBerry platform then provides advanced wireless connectivity and security to allow mobile access to clinical information.
