Affinity Health Plan Selects SAS

In an effort to improve its decision-making processes, Affinity Health Plan (Bronx, N.Y.) has selected the Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) Server from Cary, N.C.-based SAS.

Affinity Health Plan is an independent, not-for-profit managed care organization that serves low- and moderate-income populations in the New York metropolitan area.

SAS says its BI Server will help Affinity strengthen its capacity to detect underutilization or overutilization of services, including the resulting effect on cost, revenue, customer satisfaction and service delivery. According to SAS, its product provides a portfolio of BI capabilities, applied analytics and data integration.
