Kitchener, Ontario-based Medicalis Corporation, a provider of radiology workflow and decision support solutions, recently signed a contract with the Minneapolis-based Center for Diagnostic Imaging, Inc. (CDI), a national network of medical imaging providers, that calls for CDI to have access to the complete range of Medicalis solutions.

The deal aims to provide CDI customers with radiology decision support, as well as facilitated management of radiology pre-authorization programs.

The integration of ordering guidelines will complement CDI's ordering, scheduling and pre-scan quality assurance processes, while integration of Medicalis' solutions will facilitate better communications with referring clinicians, say both companies.
