Pittsburgh-based dbMotion has appointed Peter A. McClennen as president, North America.

McClennen spent the past three years as the president and chief operating officer for AMICAS Inc. Prior to that, he was an executive at GE Healthcare, serving as the global general manager of the imaging informatics worldwide business unit and its general manager of global marketing.

Before entering the vendor space, McClennen spent nine years in healthcare management at hospitals and ambulatory facilities, where he was responsible for leading clinical operations, information technology and business development.
