Ultrasound Associates (Alexandria, Va.) has purchased Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream Health’s Kodak Carestream Outpatient Solution, a turnkey digital imaging and information management package designed for imaging centers.
Ultrasound Associates provides women’s health services, including diagnostic and screening exams. Ultrasound Associates also purchased the optional integrated billing and insurance claims module to facilitate payments from insurance providers and verify co-payment amounts during scheduling, says the company.
Carestream Health’s Professional Services team will perform system design, implementation and project management, as well as user training, and will use the company’s Business Diagnostics analytics to document Ultrasound Associates’ current workflow
