Wellsoft EDIS Goes Live at Richmond Memorial

Somerset, N.J.-based Wellsoft Corporation has announced that FirstHealth of the Carolinas is live with Wellsoft’s Emergency Department Information

Somerset, N.J.-based Wellsoft Corporation has announced that FirstHealth of the Carolinas is live with Wellsoft’s Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) at Richmond Memorial Hospital, located in Rockingham, North Carolina.

Richmond Memorial, a 99-bed community hospital that provides emergency, outpatient and acute care services, sees over 27,000 in its Emergency Department every year. Wellsoft’s EDIS system was custom-configured to integrate into the ED workflow at Richmond Memorial, implementing Patient Tracking, Clinical Documentation, Risk Management, Medication Management, and Medication Reconciliation, among other features.

Richmond Memorial is the second hospital in the FirstHealth of the Carolinas to implement Wellsoft EDIS. It was previously implemented at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina in 2001.
