Minnesota Children’s Hospital has selected Kitchener, Ontario-based Medicalis Corporation, a provider of clinical decision support and workflow solutions, to enable its diagnostic imaging ordering process.

With the implementation, the Hospital will join the Medicalis network that applies evidence-based clinical guidelines to physician orders and facilitates real-time access to their local radiologists, according to the company. Children’s will become part of a community-based initiative that involves physicians, providers and health plans in the delivery of diagnostic imaging.

Minnesota Children’s is an independent, not-for-profit health care system with 332 staffed beds at two hospital campuses in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
