A coalition of technology vendors are partnering to educate 500,000 US physicians about opportunities aligned with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.

The EHR Stimulus Alliance includes Allscripts (Chicago), Cisco (San Jose, Calif.), Citrix (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.), Dell (Round Rock, Texas), Intel, (Santa Clara, Calif.), Intuit (Mountain View, Calif.), Microsoft (Redmond, Wash.) Corp., and Nuance (Burlington, Mass.). Alliance members are sponsoring the EHR Stimulus Tour, an education program with hundreds of planned virtual and physical events for physicians in cities across the United States.
