HealthPartners to Integrate PACS, EHR

Merge Healthcare (Milwaukee) and HealthPartners, a non-profit health organization based in Minneapolis, are teaming up to integrate Merge’s radiology PACS with Verona, Wis.-based Epic’s EHR solution. According to Merge, the new platform is being rolled out at Regions Hospital, a 427-bed facility in St. Paul, Minn., as well as in 18 outpatient clinics and medical offices that are also part of HealthPartners.

According to the company, HealthPartners completed the transition to filmless in 18 outpatient settings, and is planning to bring the integrated EHR and PACS into their critical access hospitals in smaller cities in Western Wisconsin.
