The Chicago-based Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) announces the acquisition of so2say communications, Ltd (so2say).

The Chicago-based Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) announces the acquisition of so2say communications, Ltd (so2say). so2say provides customized media products and communication services for the healthcare information technology industry. Its portfolio currently includes HealthTech Wire and the British Journal of Healthcare Computing.

Operating from its headquarters in Berlin, Germany, so2say is an independent subsidiary of HIMSS. The transaction was completed in August this year. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
