AHIMA, CHIME Announce Partnership

The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) have announced a partnership to work together on healthcare information governance and standards.

The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) have announced a partnership to work together on healthcare information governance and standards.

The associations, two of the biggest in the health IT leadership industry, will use their resources to research on various topics pertained to the industry, lead jointly sponsored webinars on information governance, ICD-10 readiness, and implementation of health IT for rural and critical access hospitals, presentations at the CHIME Fall Forum, advocate on important industry-related issues, and provide reciprocal invitations for annual conferences, forums and summits.
