The editors of Healthcare Informatics will be hosting their fourth tweet chat on Thursday, February 18th at 4 P.M. EST. The tweet chat will have special guest Mark Rauschuber, CIO at UT Southwestern Medical Center, our #1 Innovator Awards Program winning team. Also from UT Southwestern Medical Center particpating in the chat will be Duwayne Willett, M.D., CMIO, and Jason Fish, M.D., Deputy CMIO.

We will discuss the current state of the industry leading up to HIMSS16, what we expect to see and hear at HIMSS16, and Mark Rauschuber’s perspectives on the challenges of innovation facing healthcare and healthcare IT leaders in the present moment in U.S. healthcare.

Those who wish to ask questions to discuss these topics with the HCI editors can use the hashtag, #HCIchat and fire away. If you wish to follow along and participate, @HCInformatics@MarkHagland@RajivLeventhal, and @LandiHeather will be essential handles to follow along with the hashtag.

This will be the fourth major tweet chat for HCI. The first one was on meaningful use, the second was on accountable care, and the third was a recap of HIMSS15. We hope you join us next Thursday!
