Today, Gozio Health announced a new partnership with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to help deliver an innovative way-finding platform to the hospital's facilities.  This smart-phone based platform uses GPS technology to help patients and their families navigate the complex (and often bewildering) interior of the hospital during their visits without fear of blocked or distorted signals.

"Large buildings like hospitals can be challenging to navigate, but when your child is sick or injured, you just want to get them better as fast as possible," said Donna Hyland, President and Chief Executive Officer, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. "By introducing this unique technology to our three hospitals and 25 neighborhood locations, we can help a parent quickly navigate our health care system to easily get to where their child needs to be."

This app provides step-by-step directions to any indoor destination withing the hospital system--including the cafeteria, gardens, gift shop, specific departments and physician's offices.  It also provides appointment notifications, driving directions and parking location reminders.  This new offering will help build long-term patient enagement and increase patient satisfaction by reducing the anxiety involved with a hospital visit or stay.
