After completing his Master of Public Health at Brown, Ali's professional journey started at HERO (herohealth.com) where he joined as their first marketing hire and managed the public launch of HERO’s revolutionary medication management device. HERO’s launch was widely covered in the press and became the most upvoted hardware product on ProductHunt.   Ali then joined Syapse, a venture funded oncology tech company, as their Product Marketing Lead. Ali overhauled Syapse’s go-to-market plan and messaging, scaling up their adoption among 8 of the top 20 health systems and large pharmaceutical partners include Roche and Pfizer. Ali also led Syapse’s first research publications at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Conference.   After Syapse, Ali joined Health Gorilla as VP of Marketing. Health Gorilla had 11 employees and under $1M in revenue. Ali built and executed Health Gorilla’s go-to-market strategy, enabling its sales team to commercialize a range of health data products. Ali successfully grew Health Gorilla’s ARR by 20x, and built Health Gorilla’s brand into a household name in healthcare.  Ali now serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Health Gorilla, where he oversees product marketing, events, content, PR, brand, design and outbound sales efforts.
