Time for Pioneering Change: The 2016 Healthcare Informatics Innovator Awards Winning Teams

Feb. 11, 2016
It is our privilege once again this year to honor teams that are at the absolute tip of the spear in forging transformative change, through this year’s Healthcare Informatics Innovator Awards Program.

As the purchasers and payers of U.S. healthcare demand change from providers, some patient care organization leaders are vaulting ahead to create healthcare system change.

And it is our privilege once again this year to honor teams that are at the absolute tip of the spear in forging transformative change, through this year’s Healthcare Informatics Innovator Awards Program.

This year, we’re honoring four teams of pioneers, with the stories of each project being announced throughout this week on our website. Each of these teams is showing the way to the future, through replicable innovations that are providing their peers nationwide with case studies that could help improve outcomes, increase efficiency, and bend the cost curve, along multiple dimensions, U.S. healthcare system-wide.

What’s more, we are presenting capsule summaries of eight additional Innovator Awards case studies, recognizing eight Runner-Up teams whose accomplishments also deserve to be recognized and understood. All of these teams will additionally be recognized by the Healthcare Informatics editorial team at the 2016 Innovator Awards and Leading Edge Awards Reception during HIMSS16 in Las Vegas.

Please join us in congratulating all the finalist and runner-up teams in this year’s Innovator Awards Program. We are honored and privileged to be able to share with you, our readers, these stories of accomplishment and innovation, with the hopes that many in the industry will be inspired to replicate—and perhaps even improve on—these noteworthy accomplishments.
