CHIME Announces New Board Members

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) has announced the results of the recent Board of Trustees and Foundation Board elections.

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) has announced the results of the recent Board of Trustees and Foundation Board elections.

The following elected members will begin serving on the CHIME Board of Trustees in January 2014:

• Cara A. Babachicos, CHCIO, corporate director of information systems and CIO for Community Hospitals/Non-Acute Entities, Partners Continuing Care (Boston, Mass.)

• Indranil “Neal” Ganguly, FCHIME, CHCIO, FHIMSS, vice president and CIO, CentraState Healthcare System (Freehold, N.J.)

• Marc Probst, CIO and vice president of information systems, Intermountain Healthcare (Salt Lake City, Utah)

In addition, the current CHIME Board of Trustees elected officers for the 2015 board: Charles E. Christian, FCHIME, FHIMSS, LCHIME, CHCIO, vice president/CIO, St. Francis Hospital (Columbus, Ga.), will serve as Chair; George McCulloch, FCHIME, CHCIO, deputy CIO, Vanderbilt University Medical Center as Treasurer; and Pamela Arora, vice president/CIO, Children's Medical Center of Dallas as Secretary.

CHIME Foundation Firm representatives also elected David Finn, health information technology officer, Symantec (Mountain View, Calif.), who will begin his term of service on the CHIME Foundation Board of Directors in January 2014.
