Eclipsys EHR receives premarket, conditional CCHIT certification

ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Eclipsys Corporation today announced that the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT) has listed three integrated clinical components of its Sunrise Enterprise 5.5 suite of products as premarket conditionally CCHIT Certified electronic health records (EHRs). According to CCHIT:

• Eclipsys’ Sunrise Clinical Manager 2011 Suite, Version 5.5 (Sunrise Clinical Manager) is a premarket, conditionally CCHIT Certified 2011 Inpatient EHR;
• Sunrise Ambulatory Care 2011 Suite, Version 5.5 (Sunrise Ambulatory Care) is a premarket, conditionally CCHIT Certified 2011 Ambulatory EHR; and additionally certified for Child Health; and
• Sunrise Emergency Care 2011 Suite, Version 5.5 is a premarket, conditionally CCHIT Certified 2011 Emergency Department EHR.

In combination, these three products have attained premarket, conditional CCHIT Certified 2011 Enterprise certification — the most comprehensive level of CCHIT certification. Enterprise level certification demonstrates the highest integration of interoperability and workflow as defined by CCHIT.
