John Glaser, CIO, Partners HealthCare, Boston. Glaser distinguished himself through his leadership role in the development of CIOs as well as interoperability between provider and payer organizations.
George Halvorson, CEO and Chairman, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Oakland, Calif. Halvorson spearheaded the integration of state-of-the-art IT throughout Kaiser Permanente.
Tony Linares, Medical Director, Lumetra, San Francisco. Linares is a medical leader of the Doctor Office Quality Information Technology project for the Quality Improvement Organizations designated by CMS to find a way to improve physician adoption of EMRs.
Kevin Palattao, Vice President, Patient Care Systems, HealthPartners, Minneapolis. Palattao showed leadership with his medical implementation of its electronic medical record system.
Michael Spain, CEO, Cardiology of Tulsa, Tulsa, Okla. Vision, planning, and tireless effort led Spain to the creation of the all-digital, free-standing heart hospital in 2004.
