Officials at Superior Consultant Company, Inc., Southfield, Mich., announced Douglas H. Tayler as senior vice president, heading the company’s Information Systems Outsourcing and Interim Management services divisions. Tayler joined Superior in 1996 with career experience in the information systems and outsourcing fields.

James Pickering was named COO of ProxyMed, Inc., a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., EDI network company. Pickering was most recently president of Med-Link Technologies, Inc., Somerset, N.J., and previously vice president with National Electronic Information Corp. (NEIC). He inherits responsibility for managing ProxyMed’s ProxyNet information network.

Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, Maitland, Fla., named the former Columbia/HCA vice president of information systems development as its new senior vice president and COO. Scott E. Waldrop joined Dynamic after serving Columbia/HCA for two years. Waldrop has held executive positions with St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, CyCare Systems of Scottsdale, Ariz. Superior Consultant Company, Farmington Hills, Mich. and Carraway Hospitals in Alabama.

Medaphis Corp. Atlanta, announced C. James Schaper as COO. Schaper retains his responsibilities as executive vice president at Medaphis, leading its Per-Se Technologies division. Medaphis also announced the appointment of Allen W. Ritchie,former president of finance and administration for AGCO Corp., Atlanta, as CFO and William N. Dagher, former vice president of MedPartners, Birmingham, Ala., as CIO.

Michael G. Eckstein was named executive vice president of operations and business development for OCG Technology, Inc., New York City, developers of the PrimeCare patient management system. Eckstein has spent the last two decades leading several software and EDI networking companies. He is on the American National Standards Institute’s insurance committee for EDI and on the National Information Infrastructure information superhighway task force.
