On Aug. 9, 2021, the first day of the HIMSS21 conference, leaders at the Irvine, Calif.-based company Salesforce announced through a press release their new “care from anywhere innovations.”

Salesforce’s new offerings include:
- Remote Patient Exception Monitoring for Health Cloud: Surfaces data and insights from connected devices directly within a single dashboard to help providers create personalized connections with patients.
- Intelligent Appointment Management for Health Cloud: Maximizes appointment scheduling efficiency by suggesting the right appointment for the patient at the right time, which can help reduce no shows, administrative costs, and time spent on scheduling calls.
- Medication Management for Health Cloud: Helps health systems, pharmacies, small practices, and retail establishments manage medication lists, no matter where care is accessed.
- HIPAA Compliance for Salesforce Maps, B2C Commerce, and Salesforce Order Management: Allows in-home patient care companies to safeguard patient health information while helping to increase their productivity in the field and offer personalized care.
